1/29-Things are getting pretty heated between the three of us and Dave.  It got rather ugly today.  So much so that Dave sent the three of us home at 3:30.  "Just get out of here....."  Wild.
I had a softball game tonight.  I was considering quitting because of how many guys are non-commital and I'm the one coordinating the team and collecting the cash.  It's gotten to be too much work, but the funny thing is that when I'm out there playing, I'm excessively happy.  I feel that way a lot when I play and I never could figure out what it was.  I thought it was simply because I like playing and it's fun to run around.  However, tonight, something occured to me.  I love playing because you're always sitting in those bleachers:  You're watching me when I play.  Every catch I make in left field excites me because I hear you saying "good catch" at the end of the inning when I run back into the dugout.  It's weird.  We went a lot of places, but softball, for whatever reason, is something extra special for me.  Tonight I had several good catches out in left field (which is where the best out fielder plays in softball, of course), but I didn't get a hit.  Before you talk shit, I walked twice and grounded out to third once.  I only got one chance to hit, really.  We lost, as always, something like 30-14.  We are now 0-4 on the season.  Last place.  Shut it.  It's not my fault!

1/28-Physical Therapy is going well.  My elbow almost feels, maybe, 95%.  That sentence didn't work well, but you get the idea.  I think I'll be able to play by the middle of February.  I've been swinging my racket around the apartment and it feels good to hold the racket, but it's such a tease, too.....

1/27-I went to the Ronald Reagan Library.  I got pretty choked up a couple of times.  He was one amazing man.  He's on the level with Lincoln in terms of patriotism, freedom and a love for humankind.  I took several pictures including one by Air Force One (a plane used for 6 different presidents, I think) which was retired in 2001.  Even though he left office in 1989, they gave it to his library.  There was also a piece of the Berlin Wall, something he was instrumental in bringing down, out on a patio overlooking acres of hillside.  It was a neat day.  It was so peaceful walking through that place that I know I will carry it with me for several days..........
